Danilo: “La Juve resta il mio più grande amore. Credo in Spalletti. Coppa Intercontinentale? Speriamo di portare il trofeo a casa”

L’ex difensore e capitano della Juventus, Danilo, è stato intervistato da Sky Sport alla vigilia della finale della Coppa Intercontinentale tra il suo Flamengo e il Paris Saint-Germain. Queste le sue parole: “Sto bene, sto sfruttando questa opportunità qua al Flamengo, poi quando vinci le cose sono sempre più belle. Speriamo domani di fare bene, di vincere un’altra coppa e magari portarla a Rio”. Il Flamengo è una squadra speciale, c’è anche questo tra le motivazioni che ti hanno portato a questa scelta. “Sì, ma certo, uno quando ha l’opportunità di giocare nella squadra che tifavi da bambino, è una roba molto importante, molto speciale. Non tutti hanno questa occasione in carriera, io per fortuna ho avuto questa opportunità e quindi cerco di sfruttarla ogni giorno”. Di solito la squadra sudamericana non è favorita nella finale dell’Intercontinentale. Possiamo dire che quest’anno è un po’ diverso? “Speriamo, speriamo, coem abbiamo detto tante volte, il Psg è una squadra forte, è una squadra che ha vinto tantoin un passato recente, però noi cerchiamo di fare il nostro, di preparare bene la partita e poi domani fare bene, fare bella figura e come ho detto forse portare la coppa”. Parlate in italiano nello spogliatoio? Siete tanti ex Serie A: Alex Sandro, Jorginho, Pulgar, Emerson Royal…. “Un po’ scherziamo ogni tanto, io ed Alex sicuramente, Un po’ Jorginho che è arrivato un po’ dopo, sì, scherziamo un po’, parliamo dell’Italia che ci ha trattato bene, è stata la nostra casa, manca tanto sicuramente a tutti noi, però adesso cerchiamo di portare la forza degli ex italiani al Flamengo e provare a vincere”. La Juventus, il tuo rapporto con questa squadra: il finale un po’ amaro, ma comunque sei rimasto in contatti con i compagni, è arrivato Spalletti. Cosa ti sembra? “Come ho detto, la Juve è il mio amore da grande, quindi io sto sempre vicino ai ragazzi, ogni tanto sento qualcuno. Il mio dovere in questo momento è solo mandare energie e parole positive alla squadra, mi auguro che con il nuovo allenatore, con energie diverse, possano fare bene, ancora meglio e arrivare a raggiungere gli obiettivi che hanno per la stagione”.
